My name is Raman Okram, and I am the proud founder of Ramano’s Chilli Oil. Since my early years, I have been captivated by the art of cooking, ignited by the incredible talents of my mother and grandmother. Their expertise in the kitchen laid the foundation for my culinary journey and ignited a flame within me that burns brighter with each passing day.
My Journey
From my early days spent watching my mother and grandmother cook, to the moments in Scindia School, Delhi when my longing for home-cooked food intensified, my love for all things culinary took root. Graduation days found me spending more time in the kitchen than the classroom, with my small kitchen in Delhi becoming witness to countless culinary triumphs and occasional defeats. Amidst the trials and tribulations, my pan-Asian cuisine became the heart and soul of my home cooking. Chilli Oil, a staple in this cuisine, emerged as a versatile condiment and dipping sauce for dumpling and noodle dishes.
Its fiery touch found its way into almost all my creations, catching the attention of my critics, friends, family, and even a growing internet community. Encouraged by the overwhelming response and countless messages flooding my Instagram, I decided to bring the magic of Ramano's Chilli Oil to the world.
